Commence smackin'...

So that's how my diet is going. Not as bad as it could be, but it could definitely be better.

All hope is not lost.

Keep hope alive. I haven't read much of your blog yet, but I know three things about you which should remind you that you're awesome and can thus do this whole weight loss thing:

1) You are trying to lose weight and be healthy. That's, you know, kind of the most important part. One has to recognize the problem first, then decide they want to change it. Your two steps deep, and working on the third "action". That's huge and not to be discounted.

2) You like Ben Folds

3) You've used the expression "Beer me a/the/that..."

So yea, as WildFuckingSheep said, chin up.

You can do it!

Gah, head up Tricia! This shit isn't meant to be easy, if it were we'd all be toothpicks (yuck by the way, who wants to fuck a toothpick?)

Sounds like Dina's probably the kick assest (shut up it's a word now) friend you could have. We're all here for ya girly!

Hmmm. Interesting. I definitely would have figured you for the Dom, not the sub.

You know what? You can do this. Just pick yourself up and go! I can't tell you how many times I gave up on myself, before it finally kicked in and big weight loss happened.

Keep working it!

I have a few *ahem* connections in the fet underground. You want I should find you a dom? You gotta come up with a good safe word, though.

Just keep after it. You can do it. You are worth the effort. Truly

It sounds like you really need to make some plan of action. Like, right out specific things you're going to do each week (ala Carlos, you guys are twins, right?) and then follow through. Such as: no fast food, five fruits and veggies every day, and do some sort of exercise for 30 minutes, five times a week. If you have a specific plan in place, as opposed to just wanting to lose weight, then you're more likely to follow through. It'll make you feel accomplished when you can see that you did everything that week you said you were going to. Hope this helps. :)

I have had so many conversations like that! I should say don't give up (because I don't think you should) but when you're in a particular mind set, it just seems like empty words. So..here goes.. Don't Give Up...take one day at a time...and don't look at the past but look at every day as a clean slate.

This is the "grunt" work part of the plan. No kidding. For the first several months it's like that. It's down two pounds, up .5 lbs. You're feeling frustrated and losing one or two pounds seems like just a drop in a hugeass empty bucket. And the only way to get through this is day by day. Do your best to stay on plan during the day, forgive yourself the excesses and move on. Just keep trudging on...it WILL get better! You're lucky you have Dina...you two seem to have a special friendship and friends who understand are important. Nobody ever lost any significant amount of weight all alone. We need all the help we can get.
Right now I need all the help I can get because I have a bag of trail mix sitting in front of me and I can't seem to stop digging in for more. Aaaarrrggghhhh!!
Keep your chin up chica. We're all rootin' for you!

I wanna play! I'm good at smackin' people around. And I promise not to mess up the hair.

Don't give up Tricia. 'Cause if you do, I'll be a knockin' on your door.

YOU CAN DO IT T! :) You guys made me chuckle- thx! :)

Hang in there you can do it. You should lose 10 lbs just for your funniness (is that a word?).

Cheering you on as gay as that sounds! hehe...it sucks ass, but we all need to keep it up. They dont call it the battle of the bulge for nothin--this shit fights back! :-D

You guys crack me the fuck up.

Tricia, change of any kind is difficult. It's hard to find the right balance of being kind to yourself and giving yourself a swift kick in the butt when you need it.
