In the Year 2000...

It's weird when you think about what life will be like when the kids in our lives are our age. I'm in my early 30s and I'm already struggling with technology. Yet, Jeff's 10 year old niece is on top of shit. Using your text signature to announce to all other bitches that Justin Bieber is YOURS, goddammit. Whoa, technology. Alls I know for sure...is that I'm backing the fuck off.

Meanwhile the clock in my car is never the right time...can't figure that shit out.

As far as life goes, I guess I'm going back to counting calories to see how that goes. Gotta do something, because all this doing nothing is killing me. Also, my new jeans are far too tight, but I refuse to go back to the old ones.

Breathing is overrated anyway. Better to be in tight jeans with a good plan than sweatpants with a bowl of ice cream. I think it says that in the Bible somewhere...

If not, it probably should.

Haha! I can't keep up with technology. I'm lucky I know how to turn on the computer. Yes, I'm ancient.

Okay, the clock in my car is never right either! It used to just be a minute or two fast, now it's like 20 minutes. I reset...and it still keeps doing its thing. Weird.

I'll have to look up that Bible verse ;)

Totally. I still have a razor cell phone from 6 years ago but I'm afraid to get a new one and start all over again!

My 2 year old niece figured out how to enter her mom's iPhone password to get at her favourite Barn animal game. * shakes head *

I think it's ridiculous how all the kids have cell phones nowadays. All it does is give them another way to be absent from actual life.

When I was 16 my sister and I got an extension of a phone line in our bedroom we thought we were the shit!

I can't even reply to a text message when our kids are already sending us another one!

Hope you are having a great weekend!

I put an auto signature for my blog on my hotmail acct and now all I do is delete it. Can't stand to be a sham less self promoter, I guess...

Counting calories will work. Eating just enough, as near to natural as possible, is reliable and good for your body and soul. Like all the other weight loss stuff, the challenge is to do it consistently, for me it takes starting over again, over and over again. Sometimes in just one day. But that's OK.

Im no bible thumper but its good to be able to quote the important passages----"Better to be in tight jeans with a good plan than sweatpants with a bowl of ice cream!!"
Love it. Ironically Ive decided to try to cut carbs rather than count points. I think!
I feel downright geriatric when I think of some of this new technology that pops onto the scene every few months, and the kicker is I dont care--that means Im REALLY old! :-D

Start writing your own bible.

I count calories in my own boring spreadsheet and it works, but that being said, even your "poison cupcakes" look delicious to me right now. : )

I love your 10 year old niece's signature, haha! It made laugh! Why are girls so nuts over him, and she's only TEN? I must admit, he's a cutie, but TEN? : )

I can't believe one of the biggest "heart throbs" in the country is a little 15 year old (that's a guess) weiner kid with weiner hair. My grandma's generation venerated Rock Hudson and stars in their 30's and 40's. How long before our pop culture's biggest sex symbols are 10 year olds?

Yea, that's gross, but seriously, just wait...

Also, yea, I thought about taking 125 dollar pictures in a row, but decided that wouldn't be really honest and also wouldn't account for actually doing it as a reward, plus not doing it if I don't work out. Anyway, my 25 y/o nephew has been super willing to do it every day, so all good.

I didn't give the oldest a real cell till he was 17 and a half and I took it back away 2 months later lol. I don't think kids need that much trouble lol. I loved what you said so true better to have tight jeans and a plan and sweats and a bowl of ice cream lol.
